Wedding Season 2022 | Here we go! | Engagement Shoot June 2022

This year is going to be a busy one! Weddings, real estate, modeling shoots an more.

These two had to move their date because of Covid and it’s finally time to start getting excited! We started an hour before sunset and kept going until the colours popped. My favorite shoot this year so far. (although I tend to say that literally every shoot I do!)

Later this year I’ll be photographing this awesome couple’s wedding:

2022 & Beyond

WOW. The past two years have been SO different than any other for my photography business. I wanted to take the time to thank all of my clients for their business & support! Being a small business, I’m grateful for each opportunity - it means the world to me.

During the past few years my clients have brought me along with them through some unique journeys including wedding with only 5 people! (including the bride & groom)

I’ve been through milestones such as baptisms, 80th bday parties and lots of family shoots! I’ve also been busy with Real Estate photography as well.

With Covid related restrictions lifting soon I’m beyond excited for the 2022 photographic year ahead. Here are some random pictures from the past 6 months:

2022 is already shaping up to be an awesome year - I’m beyond excited!

Sunflower Family Photos | Orangeville, ON

This awesome family has introduced me to a new spot. Sunflowers at the perfect time of day with a beautiful family makes for a good evening! The owner of David’s Family Farm is amazing, kind and has clearly has put a lot of work into making some great photo opportunities.

I love exploring new locations, especially when it looks like this:

Summer Rustic Engagement Photos | Mono 2021

Ahhhhhh these two are amazing and I’m so excited to be back in the swing of things! What an amazing shoot. Not only was it an engagement shoot, but they also has some excited news to share; a little on is on the way! Their property was absolutely perfect for photos and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding here:

Secret Proposal Photography | Orangeville, Ontario

I’ve got to tell this cool story! Clinton deserves some brownie points or a medal for orchestrating such an amazing proposal. He reached out to me in hopes of being able to secretly capture his proposal without her seeing or knowing I was there… of course I wanted to be a part of it! So after a bit of back and forth about locations, Clinton went a few days early to a local hiking trail I suggested and found the absolute PERFECT spot to pull off this plan. He sends me photos along with his thoughts and backup locations just in case.

Fast-forward to the day of: I arrived early so I could scope out a place to hide and be sure I’ll be hidden. Trouble is, ALL the leaves on the tree’s that would normally provide great cover are all on the ground. This mean’s I’ve got nothing to hide behind, and if I moved at all, the sound would be SO loud from the dried leaves. After searching and searching, the angle I decided on had me fully prone in a small "ditch” only a few feet away from the trail. I knew if I laid still and on my stomach they’d have a really hard time seeing me, and the angle was the best angle for pictures - so I committed to the muddy/leafy ditch.

15 minutes go by and I hear leaves rustling... they are early. I triple check the camera settings and as I’m right about to pop out and start taking shots I see 4 legs… a dog! False alarm! Both the dog and their human walk by without seeing me. My hiding spot must be pretty good considering I was less than 10 feet away from the trail.

10 more minutes go by and I hear two faint voices and some footsteps. I listen closely until I hear their feet stop. It’s go time! Like a ninja, I slowly push up onto my elbow’s and lock onto the proposal that’s seconds away from taking place. This is what I captured:

Rustic Backyard Wedding | Hailey & Kyle | Honeywood, ON 2020

These two were an absolute joy to photograph. I feel like I always say this… but this wedding was SO MUCH FUN. The smiles, jokes and shenanigans were non-stop from beginning to end. Also, the bride decorated her own wedding by herself in less than two weeks!

Vibrant Fall Colours | Orangeville Photos | Fall 2020

I’m so fortunate to live in a country with four unique seasons. The vibrant colours of fall are amazing in Ontario, especially in the local parks of Orangeville such as Monora Park. I’ve got quite a few local spots that I like to hike and take pictures of during fall - with this park being one of my go-to’s for portraits. It’s accessible got lots of variety and the leaves are just perfect! These two fit in perfectly with the awesome fall vibe:
